Chris Yang Liu (born October, 1982) is a photographer based in Beijing China. Her main playground in childhood is her father’s darkroom. The first sight of seeing a portrait appearing in a processing solution is engraved on her heart until now. Got her first auto focus camera – Ricoh XF-30D – when she attended primary school in the 1990s. Constantly practicing and taking along her camera everywhere, she formed her own distinctive style through self-training.
Bird's-eye view of Chicago’s night was shot in 2017 during her time at law school in Chicago. She is a licensed attorney at law in Beijing China. The juxtaposition of rational and sentimental expression shows her susceptibility.
To explore the possibilities, she established HePu Film LLC in 2016 in Chicago Illinois as an overseas entity of HePu (Beijing) Culture Media Co Ltd, which was set up in 2014 Beijing China by her husband Mr. Ye Lian. Both companies are engaged in the exchange of film, television, cultural activities and fine arts. The founder established the Farmland Film Festival, which has been held for seven years since 2014. It includes screenings of art films, vintage bazaar, performances and art exhibitions etc.

Since graduating with a degree in philosophy in 1969, installation artist/photographer Gregg LeFevre has created over 120 site specific public art works in cast metal that provide insight about the nature and character of particular places. He uses cast relief imagery and text to illustrate the traits that contribute to the unique personality of a place. He often works in a series, creating a walkway of related pieces. His best known work of this type is Library Walk in NYC: 100 bronze reliefs set in the sidewalks of 41st Street across Fifth Ave from the Schwarzman Library that reference world literature. His main interest in these public works is exploring alternative history and culture: African American, Women's, Native American, Hispanic and Natural histories and cultures.
Having worked for many years “in the streets” as an installation artist, it was a natural step in the 90’s for LeFevre to begin a parallel career as a street photographer. While installing his public installations, he witnessed and photographed the advent and proliferation of large scale vinyl advertisements stretched across buildings in downtown urban areas. His best known series deals with the role of figurative advertising in the urban landscape.
Most recently he has been experimenting with three dimensional photography. He typically photographs billboard advertisements and posters that have been altered by their environment: changed by wind and weather, street artists, graffiti artists and political provocateur, as well as ad installers and municipal workers. The images he creates he then makes three dimensional through a process that he has invented.
His works are in the collections of The Boston Public Library, The DeCordova Museum, The Everson Museum, The Fitchburg Museum, Hamilton College,The Museum of the City of New York, The City College of New York, The State University of New York, The National Air and Space Museum, The Smithsonian Institution, and Hewlett Packard.
His photographs have been shown in numerous galleries in the US and Europe. He has also exhibited his work at the Freies Museum, in Berlin; at the Plataforma Revolver, in Lisbon; and at the Museum of Contemporary Art, in the Shijingshan section of Beijing.

JING LIU (mona) the founder of Mona Jewelry, which was established in 2018, is an acknowledged creative designer who graduated from China Center Academy Fine Arts with a major in painting. Despite her painting major, her true passion lies in handmade jewelry. Following her undergraduate program, she then studied bench jewelry at Haute Ecole de Joaillerie in Paris, France for 2 years. She also holds a certificate from the Gemological Institute of America in New York City in Gemology. Mona’s unique artistic perspective allows her to elevate simple shapes, such as the circle and square, and make them intricate and meaningful. This young but powerful brand is full of charm without losing a sense of fashion. Most of Mona’s inspiration for her designs comes from nature and old world oriental culture. Each piece reflects this inspiration in some way and has a significant meaning.

I am a member of the Council of Asian Designers of America. I love art and once again share my thoughts on art with you. Art is a dialogue between free thought and soul. You can be whoever you want to be. Art is everywhere, in our brain, body, spirit and soul. Art lets you discover who you are. Art is a good friend of philosophy, fills us with imagination and creativity. Art allows us to find the true and unique self. Thank you very much to the organizer and I am honored to be able to participate in this artist event.

Throughout the current jewelry market, both the design language and the marketing strategy are still the values dominated by western countries. However, Chinese jewelry has a history of thousands of years, so the "material library" that we can learn from is huge and rich.
Chinese designers are gradually developing their own genre and influence. I think Chinese style is also the trend of the future, but it is by no means a simple extraction of some representative elements for use to lead the Chinese design. I hope I can create story-telling and interesting Chinese jewelry, and also hope my design is young and tense. There are a lot of ideas for playability in my work, sometimes it is the collision of elements, sometimes it is the innovation of materials and of course it can be the unexpected wear. I hope you can enjoy the wonderful experience of jewelry as I do.
